LEWISBURG — Several local members of the National Guard returned to Lewisburg Saturday afternoon. According to The Daily Item, the 15 Guardsmen were deployed for a year, and stationed in Kuwait for eight months, before they returned home yesterday. Among the soldiers were Zachary Randall of Millmont, Corey Roadcap of Sunbury, Troy Heimbach of White Deer, Brandon Rote of Millmont, and Travis Campbell of Sunbury. The men were welcomed home by family and friends at the National Guard Armory in Lewisburg Saturday afternoon. They will now have 90 days before they have report back to training. (Codi Jade)
