LEWISBURG — Some Bucknell students were displaced by a fire at their residence in Lewisburg Thursday morning. The fire at 625 Saint Catherine Street was ruled accidental. According to Fire Chief James Blount III, of William Cameron Engine Company, the fire started when a bedside lamp made contact with a mattress. No one was injured in the blaze. The fire was reported around 10:45a.m. and volunteers had it under control by 11:05a.m. The two-story home received moderate damage to the rear bedroom with water damage throughout the second floor.
