MIFFLINBURG – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Lewisburg woman charged with burning a 2-year-old with scalding hot water. The Daily Item reports 20-year-old Hayle Hans has been charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault. State police say the woman put the child in a bathtub filled with scalding water, causing second-degree burns to the child’s feet and legs. The child also showed signs of malnutrition. The child was treated with home remedies following the incident on August 26, but as the wounds worsened, the child was taken to Evangelical Community Hospital on August 31 and then transported to the Lehigh Valley burn center in Allentown. ...
