LEWISBURG – The annual Lewisburg Ice Festival, and Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy Festival, were ‘delicious frozen perfection’ according to one of the folks attending the annual downtown events. Hundreds of people walked Market Street viewing the ice sculptures (which remain on display). An estimated 1,000 people attended the Polar Bear Plunge. The Chocolate Festival Ball at the Lewisburg Hotel featured a silent auction, a live auction, a professionally prepared chocolate display, an amateur chocolate competition and unending chocolate tasting. Andrea Tufo of the Donald Heiter Center said there was also a Cocoa Festival for the little ones for 5 to 13-year-olds.
