LEWISBURG – A local museum could use a boost. The Packwood House Museum of Lewisburg has released a statement outlining their financial struggles. According to museum staff, the trust that once provided them with a generous monthly stipend has been reduced. The museum is open and does have two major fundraisers each year. The museum was created when the founder, Edith Fetherston – a Lewisburg native and graduate of Bucknell University — passed away in 1972.
