LEWISBURG – A 3-mile resurfacing project began today (Monday) on Route 15 in Union County and work will continue into September. The project includes milling and resurfacing of Route 15 in both directions north of Lewisburg. There will be single lane closures through the work zone. Southbound traffic has been switched from the passing lane to a travel lane. Northbound traffic will be switched in about two weeks. Safety improvements are also being done at the intersection of Route 15 and Col. John Kelly Road. That intersection will remain closed until the work is completed in mid-August.
