LEWISBURG — When Lewisburg high school football practice begins in two weeks–they will have a new head coach. Michael Ferriero was selected for the job following the resignation of head coach Jeremy Winn. Lewisburg football practices start August 11, and the first game August 29 vs. Shikellamy. Lewisburg High School Principal David Hines said Winn resigned after taking a job as a principal in the Danville School District. Hines says he and athletic director Mark Temple interviewed about 5 or 6 candidates for the job, but decided Ferriero was the right fit.
