LEWISBURG — The heavy rain ended and skies cleared just in time for the Lewisburg fireworks Friday night. Many came out to Wolfe Field and the surrounding area to watch as the fireworks lit up the sky. Friday was the kickoff to four days of 4th of July events in Lewisburg. Saturday the 19th annual Veterans 4th of July Parade kicks off at 10:00a.m. It is followed by a Veterans recognition ceremony at noon, a picnic and band concert and the USO Gala Dance.
