LEWISBURG—From downtown Lewisburg to the halls at Bucknell, Saturday’s Cavalcade of Champions Competition was the center of attention. Eight teams from New Jersey, New York, and Canada welcomed hundreds of onlookers to the stands with a booming orchestra of drums and bugles that could be heard for miles. Drummer Jim Weden of the Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps said the competition radiated positive energy. “From day one, I walked into this organization and I mean, great things were happening. I just felt an incredible energy. I feel really blessed to be here.
