LEWISBURG – Lewisburg and East Buffalo Township are a big step closer to consolidation. Tom Zorn, East Buffalo Township supervisor chairman says consolidation creates a new government entity, “Two or more municipalities forming a third, separate unit altogether. That’s what we’re talking about.” A feasibility study is the next step in the process and funding for 60% of the study will come from the Department of Community and Economic Development.
