Battle of the ‘Burgs to benefit Baker fund

LEWISBURG — A lot of residents from Lewisburg and Mifflinburg are about to do battle…they will be in an upcoming race called “Battle of the ‘Burgs.”  The race will benefit the Michael P. Baker Community Impact Fund, which supports area families coping with serious illness or catastrophic events.   The race will be held on Friday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. starting in both Mifflinburg and Lewisburg.  Tara Michaels of Fit for Funds explains how it works, “You start either in Mifflinburg or Lewisburg on the Rail Trail.  Both ends will start at the same time and converge right at Ard’s.  Then there is a big post party with live music and tons of food...
