LEWISBURG – You may know them as the hosts of various candidates’ nights and as the publishers of a Union County voter’s guide. The Lewisburg League of Women Voters is turning 60 this year! Pam Mauger is first vice president of the league and says their goal is to help create informed voters, “It was founded in 1954 by women who wanted to do in depth study of government policy. In addition, the league itself sets up studies and comes up with positions so that these positions can be taken as a lobby group.
