Lewisburg businessman gives up dog park fundraiser

LEWISBURG — A Lewisburg businessman says he will be giving back nearly $4,000 to people that donated to a year-round dog park in Lewisburg. Elijah Love says he has been instrumental in fundraising for the dog park and that the Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority has known about his efforts since January.  “At first we were going to do a fundraiser last year under the recreation authority,” says Love.  “I guess the powers that be there didn’t want that, so I talked with the ladies at the recreation authority and asked if I could do the fundraising under my company and then donate the money to them after the fact.  That seemed to be fine, we...
